PARIS, 2 Sep. (by EUROPA PRESS special correspondent Ramón Chamorro) –
The Paralympic Games in Paris will begin their fifth day of sporting competition on Monday 2 September, during which the delegation will have the chance to increase its medal tally, particularly through triathlon.
This sport will make its debut, barring any major last-minute problems, 24 hours before the scheduled date, after the competition scheduled for Sunday was postponed due to the conditions of the River Seine and will now try to improve its result from three years ago in Tokyo, where it won three medals. The debut of Marta Fernández, triple medallist in the Japanese capital, and the athlete Álvaro del Amo, in the F11 weight, are other options for a delegation that has 15 medals and dreams of going to bed with twenty.
