Parada explodes and announces legal measures against Chelo García-Cortés: “He has lost respect for me”

The former presenter of neighborhood cinema has reacted after starting to read the memories of Chelo Garcia-Corteswhich he has not been able to continue after reading similar episodes that he does not remember in the same way.

“I read things and I say: ‘They have not been like that’. I have proposed not to speak of Chelo again because I have done the impossible to try to get along. If I had made some memories, I would ask her before: ‘Is this like this or did you experience it in another way?'”, said Parada this Monday at some awards held in Madrid.

He is so outraged that he does not rule out the possibility of taking legal action against her: “I think I leave her as impossible, that she do what she wants and says what she wants. But be careful, because as you say or write something that is not within the legality…”.

In this sense, he added: “I’ve been forgiving and trying not to give it importance for many years. I have to talk to my lawyers. I’m so upset, so angry and so indignant that I don’t know what I’m going to do.”

For José Manuel, Chelo’s statements in his book are very strong: “He has told lies about me and has taken them to his own ground. He has said that our relationship ended because I was unfaithful. That seems horrible to me.”

However, Parada’s anger does not come from now, but from long before: “I think that Chelo has lost respect for me a long time ago and I have not lost it to her. I have not gone to the media to tell things about her life private, I entered because she told me about it”.

With the same indignation, he recalls the interview with Bárbara Rey in a Deluxe of 2011, in which he recognized his “night of love” with Chelo when the journalist was still with Parada.

“When they recounted the famous night of love, they said that I was half an asshole and that I didn’t know anything. Chelo had no choice but to rectify and say that the story was not like that.” According to him, now he would have to do the same: “He knows that it has hurt me and it has bothered me,” she said.
