Pablo Zabaleta leaves football

Argentine Pablo Zabaleta announced this Friday that he is hanging up his boots and leaving professional football. At 36 years of age and a few months after leaving West Ham (last June), the veteran Argentine full-back ends his long professional career.

The former defender of Manchester City or Espanyol, among many other teams, in addition to being an international with Argentina's absolute, is retiring after a prolific and successful career.
