Pablo Urdangarin praises his parents: “I have been able to learn a lot from them”

And I’ve always had my parents tell me that it’s very important because you never know when something might happen or when your sports career might end,” he said in an interview with BarçaTv.

In this sense, he spoke about his studies: “I am studying a degree in Sport Management at the European University of Barcelona. I do my studies in English. It is a degree that I started in Nantes and that I was able to continue studying when I moved to Barcelona. If I translate it into Spanish, it’s like business administration but related to sports. You have several subjects that are very similar to those that a ADE student can do but more related to sports. Studying is something very necessary for an athlete, it’s something that you will always need and that helps you not only educationally but also as a person”.

In addition, he highlighted the enthusiasm that makes him be in the Blaugrana team: “As a child I always saw Barça as a very distant goal, but I focused on the small steps that lay ahead of me, I took advantage of every opportunity I had until I got here and little by little I was able to fulfill that dream I had”.
