Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso has suffered a myocardial infarction, the Madrid club reported this Sunday.

“Real Madrid CF announces that our coach Pablo Laso is admitted to the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital after suffering a myocardial infarction early today,” said the club’s statement, which did not provide details of his condition.

The 54-year-old Basque coach normally directed his team’s Endesa League ‘Playoff’ match against Bitci Baskonia at the WiZink Center on Saturday (83-71), in which the Whites made it 2-0 in the playoff.
