MADRID, 7 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The coach of Real Madrid, Pablo Laso, was discharged from hospital this Tuesday after suffering a myocardial infarction in the early hours of last Saturday and remaining admitted to the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, as confirmed by the coach himself in a message on his social networks.
“I’m home now, and I feel perfectly fine. I’ve been lucky that life has given me a warning,” Laso wrote on his Twitter profile, in a message accompanied by a photograph of the coach in his car.
The Madrid coach explained that the doctor assured him that he was “better than five days ago”. “(I am) Strong and wanting to return as soon as possible,” he added.
Also via Twitter, Laso recalled all the support received in recent days. “Thank you all for your messages. Thanks to the entire medical team at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital,” she asserted.
Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso suffered a myocardial infarction in the early hours of last Saturday, forcing him to be admitted to the ICU after undergoing a catheterization. Given the “favorable” evolution of him, the Basque coach was transferred to the plant this Monday, to leave the Hospital and return home on Tuesday morning.
Last Saturday, the coach normally directed his team’s Endesa League ‘Playoff’ match against Bitci Baskonia at the WiZink Center (83-71), in which the Whites made it 2-0 in the tie. However, he will not be able to be in the third duel of this Tuesday’s match, in which his assistant, Chus Mateo, will be in charge of the white bench.
