Real Oviedo won this Friday by a clear 3-0 against Albacete Balompié, thanks to a double from Paulino de la Fuente, in the opening match of matchday 11 in LaLiga Hypermotion, a result that extended the positive streak of the Carbayones, who have not lost for three weeks.
At the Carlos Tartiere Stadium, the first half ended goalless, but De la Fuente took charge of amending that situation shortly after returning from the locker room. Borja Bastón extended Oviedo’s lead in the 53rd minute and De la Fuente himself made it 3-0 just 10 minutes later.
Their little possession of the ball and their lack of gunpowder condemned Albacete, which remains in the middle of the table with 14 points, while the Oviedo team gained 13 points and distanced themselves from the occupants of the dangerous zone of this Second Division.
