Ousmane Ndiaye also arrives on loan to Zunder Palencia

MADRID, 14 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Senegalese power forward Ousmane Ndiaye, 19 years old and 2.11 meters tall, has become a new Zunder Palencia player this Thursday, as reported by the Palencia entity after reaching a loan agreement with his club of origin, the Saski Baskonia.

Born on March 19, 2004 in Guédiawaye (Senegal), Ndiaye joins the team coached by Marco Justo to fill the gap left by Iván Cruz’s serious injury. Formed at Dragons Rhöndorf, with which he played in the ProB – German third division -, he signed for the Baskon team at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

Within the Vitorian discipline, he played last season with his subsidiary in the LEB Plata. “In the 26 games played, he achieved averages of 9.2 points (32.7% in three-pointers) and 7.5 rebounds (2.1 offensive), with a rating of 11.2,” Zunder Palencia indicated in a note. of press.

“At 19 years old, this summer he played with the Senegal senior team in the qualifying tournament for next year’s Olympic Qualifiers, where he averaged 9.8 points and 9 rebounds in four games,” the note added. Ndiaye lands in Palencia just one day after the Italian-Uruguayan point guard Agustín Ubal, also signed on loan.
