Nigerian Naples striker Victor Osimhen tested positive for Covid and was left isolated, the Italian club announced on Thursday.
Osimhen, 23, “is asymptomatic,” Napoli said in a statement. Napoli are the rival of Barcelona in the round of 32 of the Europa League.
Osimhen is the fourth Naples player to test positive for Covid, after Lorenzo Insigne and Fabián Ruiz (already recovered) and Hirving Lozano.
Osimhen, who is still recovering from surgery after suffering multiple facial fractures against Inter in November, was examined before heading to Italy for a check-up on Friday.
