Celta de Vigo's coach, Óscar García Junyent, stressed the importance of this Saturday's game against Real Betis, which his team could reach in the classification in case of victory.
“It is a very important game, it was already the day of Mallorca and Saturday is again,” said the celestial coach, who had a talk with his players before Friday afternoon training to analyze the “mistakes” made before the vermilion ensemble.
“We made 20 approaches to the area, and with 20 arrivals we should have had more effectiveness facing the door. The effectiveness that we lacked we had Mallorca because it came six or seven times and scored five goals, “he said.
The Celta coach expects “the best version” of Betis, a team that is not going through its best moment but has a “great” squad that will not make the game “not easy” for its footballers.
Óscar García Junyent asked to turn the page on the refereeing performance of Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea because “we have to be focused on what we can control, and there are things that we cannot control, like what happened in Mallorca”.
