Osasuna signs striker Raúl García de Haro until 2028

MADRID, 10 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

CA Osasuna has reached an agreement this Thursday with Real Betis for the transfer of striker Raúl García de Haro to the rojilla entity, where he will stay until June 30, 2028 and will have a termination clause of 50 million euros in LaLiga EA Sports.

Osasuna himself has revealed that the agreement had been closed at 6 million euros “for 65% of the economic rights of the footballer”, contemplating “a maximum of 1.5 million more in different variables that can occur throughout duration of the contract”.

Born on November 3, 2000 in Olesa de Montserrat (Barcelona), García de Haro grew up in Granada and began his career at Guadix CF at the age of eight. “At the age of 13, he signed for the lower categories of UD Almería, where his performance caught the attention of the Real Betis scouts by becoming the top scorer in the youth Division of Honor with 22 goals”, Osasuna pointed out in his note from press.

“So at the age of 17 he joined the Real Betis youth team, although his extraordinary performance meant that that same year he made the leap to the subsidiary, with which in 2020 he achieved promotion to Second Division B. He made his debut in LaLiga EA Sports in 2019 in a match between Real Betis and Levante UD, although his explosion as a footballer occurred last season,” the note specified.

“The striker was loaned to CD Mirandés, where he scored 19 goals and gave seven assists in 39 games in the Second Division, being the second top scorer in the category”, he recalled to the press text, about a player who stands out for his 1, 91 meters tall “and for his intelligence in the area,” according to the Osasuna note.

“In addition, he has good one-on-one skills and excellent definition despite being only 22 years old. With his signing, Osasuna is making an important commitment to the future. For his part, the footballer has made the decision to continue his progress at Osasuna, where this season they will be able to play four competitions”, the text concluded, underlining the challenges of the team led by Jagoba Arrasate.
