The Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation made the sanctions public after the twenty-second day of LaLiga Santander. Eight players have been sanctioned with a one-match suspension and one of those players is Vinicius.
The Brazilian Real Madrid player received a fifth yellow card in the match against Elche (2-2) played last Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu and was sanctioned with a match due to accumulation of bookings.
