On Sunday Night Football, Lamar Jackson as well as the Ravens beat the Jaguars easily to make sure they will be in the playoffs.

In Sunday night’s game, Lamar Jackson won again, which made his case for MVP stronger. The Ravens got off to a good start with a field goal by Justin Tucker in the first term and Isaiah Likely’s touchdown catch from 16 yards out in the second.

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost 23–7 to the Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football” at EverBank Stadium. Jackson led the Ravens to victory. The Ravens made it to the playoffs with this win, making their record 11-3 on the season.

The Jaguars ought to have scored shortly prior to halftime, but Lawrence messed up the clock badly. They got to the 5-yard line after Lawrence threw a deep strike to Zay Jones. He then didn’t spike the ball.

Peter Parker Washington grabbed the pass on the flat position and was sacked inside the 20-yard line. The Jaguars made a big mistake there because the clock ran out. The Ravens now lead 10-0 at halftime.

As the game went into the second half, the Jaguars finally scored when Jamal Agnew ran for 65 yards without being hit. As of now this season, that was both Lawrence’s biggest touchdown pass and the Jaguars’ longest play from scrimmage.

It’s possible that Jackson’s most stupid play of the night happened in the red zone, after he somehow avoided being sacked. There were a lot of them to pick from.

That led to a short touchdown run by Gus Edwards, which made the score 10–10. Tucker then made two field goals, or the Ravens held on for one more play in the red zone to complete the 16-point win.

On 14 out of 24 throws, Jackson gained 171 yards, scored a touchdown, and was picked off. He also led the team with 97 yards on the ground from 12 runs. More than likely ended up with 70 yards of reception in five catches.

Lawrence completed 25 out of 43 passes for 264 yards and a score in Jacksonville’s loss. He also ran the ball four times for 41 yards, which was their most. Agnew caught two passes and gained 70 yards.

Next week, the Jaguars (8-6) will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both the Colts and the Texans are 8-6, which means that the AFC South should have a great end.

The Ravens (11-3) scored a touchdown, making it four wins in a row. They are now one win away from clinching the first-round spot and being at home all through the AFC playoffs.

The Jaguars (8-6) lost their third game in a row, all of them against AFC North teams. They are now tied for first place in the AFC South with Nashville. A lot of Jacksonville’s problems were caused by mistakes they made themselves.

Trevor Lawrence lost the ball twice in the most recent loss, including one in the fourth quarter that pretty much sealed Baltimore’s eighth win in its last nine games.

Keaton Mitchell, a potential rookie running back, hurt his left knee early in the fourth quarter and had to be taken out of the game right away.

On replays, his knee was bent in a weird way while he was running. When he rode off on a cart, he gave a thumbs-up sign.

Lawrence threw for 264 yards, and his touchdown pass to Jamal Agnew from 65 yards out gave the Jaguars life after the first half ended with no points. But the Ravens came back with a play that didn’t make sense.

Jackson rolled to the right to avoid Dawuane Smoot’s sack and threw a pass that was easy for someone to catch near the goal line.

Most likely got the catch by getting past cornerback Darious Williams as well as safety Andrew Wingard. After two plays, Edwards scored.

In the first half, the Jaguars had four chances to score, but they didn’t take any of them. They got 181 yards, that’s the most of any team this season in the first half that didn’t score.
