Okay Yokuslu: “I can't talk about my future”

The Turkish international Okay Yokuslu, under contract with the Celtic from Vigo to June 2023, ruled out this Friday to guarantee his continuity in the Galician club beyond this season.

“I can't speak about the future. Now I am here and we have eleven important games. I will try to give my maximum for the team and for my teammates. I'm only focused on Celta for this season“Replied the footballer in a virtual interview broadcast by the club's media.

The midfielder, a fixture at eleven Óscar García Junyent, acknowledges that it is “difficult” to know at what level the team will resume the competition due to inactivity, although at the same time he pointed out that this problem will also be faced by their rivals.

“It's almost two months and it's a long time, but it's the same for everyone. All teams will be in the same situation. We are going to give the maximum ”, insisted Okay, who asked“ not to do the math ”and focus on winning“ all the matches ”to achieve the goal of staying in LaLiga Santander.

For the Turkish midfielder it will not be strange to play without an audience because in his country he has already done it several times because of “the fines” that clubs receive, although he does not like it too much.

“It is not a good feeling because the atmosphere is better with the fans, of course. Everyone knows that playing without fans is quite boringBut this is a competition and the teams will try to win every game. The situation is special and we are going to finish LaLiga anyway, ”he concluded.
