Official: Trincão leaves on loan for a season to Wolves

Francisco Trincao, 'senhor' 31 million as he was baptized in Portugal when Barça signed him from Sporting de Braga, hhas been loaned by Barça to Wolwerhamton Wanderers until June 2022. This was announced by Barça this Sunday morning in a statement in which, in addition, it informs that the Wolves will have a non-mandatory player purchase option that is not specified. At the moment, the figure has not transcended, although it is to be assumed that it should not be very affordable because the club considers that the footballer is a project of a Barça player who needs minutes.

Trincao, 21, was gradually losing prominence last season, to the point that at the end of it he almost did not appear in Koeman's rosters. He added 1,309 minutes in periods of 42 games and, as his participation was less (his last great moment was an agonizing goal against Betis that kept Barça in the race for the League), he was left without a place at Barça and, what is worse, also at the European Championship.

Jorge Mendes, with a lot of influence in the Wolves, has moved the operation so that the footballer seeks and finds with Bruno Lage the opportunities that he did not have with Koeman. The objective, to have more minutes in the Premier than in LaLiga and to return to Barça as a more accomplished player and of a higher level.
