In this way, Rufete will direct “the entire sports pitch, both on a masculine and feminine level, from Professional Soccer to grassroots Soccer ”, as explained in the official statement that Espanyol has just issued.
After the final departure of Pescar Perarnau last May 26, Rufete had already become the strong man of the Sports Area with full powers, a function that this Sunday has been made official by Espanyol.
Rufete joined the Espanyol Sports Area in August 2018 being responsible for the men's first team, and almost two years later he has become the po boss ’of the entire sports management and confidence man of the President Chen.
