Núñez Feijóo and his son on social networks: the most tender face of the president

His name is Alberto, he is five years old and he is the weakness of the heaviest weight in the People’s Party. His multiple professional commitments do not allow him to enjoy it as much as he would like, but he makes the most of every second with his only son and this Thursday, in addition, he has shared it with all his followers: “The longest ‘good night’ since we arrived in Madrid”.

In the image appears Alberto Núñez Feijóo with his son, the result of his relationship with the executive Eva Cardenasfor whom the turn in the life of his parents (and his own) has been very hard: “We had to put a child in a car on a Saturday to bring him to Madrid and start a new school on a Monday. It is the the only son I have. I had him when I was 55 years old and I’m happy. I enjoy it every hour,” he said in an interview in Esquire. “He left everything behind at his age: his city, his friends, the square where he played. It affected me to see it. It is something that I experienced myself because at the age of nine I went as an intern from a town in Ourense to León. It had to be hard for him”. And he added: “Despite the shock, I am convinced that this is an opportunity. I am sure that one day my son will understand.”

The leader of the PP has shown his most tender face with this photograph. Alberto was born in February 2017. He then announced it with a message of thanks on social networks: “Very happy for Alberto’s arrival. The child and the mother are fine.” The former president of the Xunta fulfilled his dream of being a father with Eva Cárdenas, former director of Zara Home, with whom he has dated since October 2013. A discreet relationship that has been consolidated over the years. His first public appearance was in January 2015, during the birthday of Marta Ortega, then heir to Inditex.
