Some of the Serbian Zlatanovic, in the final stretch of the match, keeps Numancia alive in his fight to avoid relegation after a duel in which Ponferradina had three clear goalscoring chances in the first half that he did not know how to take advantage of.
Numancia entered better in the 'final' for salvation, but it lasted very little, against a Ponferradina who reacted in the quarter of an hour and took and did not release the initiative of the game until the break.
In the three clear goalscoring occasions of the León team, local goalkeeper Dani Barrio kept Numancia in the match.
In the 17th minute he took a header from Yuri at the far post, after Son's lateral center from the right, in 33 he stopped a point-blank shot at Yuri himself, and in 39 the lateral Son, without a marker, finished off head, but Barrio's saving hand appeared to avoid the goal.
The Ponferradina, with better circulation of the ball, hurt Numancia in the lateral centers and the local team, too gripped, hardly touched the rival area.
After the break, the panorama did not change, with a Ponferradina who felt more comfortable and soon warned Numancia of her intentions, with a Vaseline by Luis Valcarce (min. 48), in a false start by Dani Barrio, who took the finish line the central Bernardo.
Numancia reacted twice. First with a shot from the front of Curro that René took off as best he could (min. 63), but Zlatanovic did not cushion the rejection well and squandered a clear opportunity.
Castellano, at the far post, on a corner kick, had all the goal for him, but finished off (min. 66).
And Numancia resorted to heroics in the final stretch of the match, with Escassi as second striker.
In the 84th minute, the Numantino pivot gave a good pass to the Serbian Zlatanovic, who broke the equalizer volley. It was his first goal as a Numantino and he put Numancia back in the fight for salvation.
