Norway coach sees Odegaard at Arsenal: “His game can suit him well …”

Martin Odegaard will go on loan to Arsenal in the next few hours. After a chat with Arteta, the Norwegian crescent decided that his destination in the winter market would be the London club. Last Tuesday he spoke with his country's coach and asked for advice. Solbakken himself, who recommended that he “follow his instincts”, already knows that Arsenal will be Odegaard's team until the end of the season.

In an interview with VG, Solbakken already talks about Odegaard as a new Arsenal player and praises Arteta: “I think it shows that he has extremely great faith in himself. He joins a new league and a team that has undoubtedly risen considerably. Lately, they have had some good victories and climbed the table, but they are a team that has been underperforming for a while. They are under construction. I think they have a good coach. I like Mikel Arteta and the style he tries to apply “, Solbakken commented.

In addition, the Norwegian coach is convinced that Odegaard was right in choosing Arsenal: “It reaches another culture, another country, a different climate. I think Arsenal's way of playing can suit him very well ”.
