“Nobita, Leyenda”: Bartomeu already has a plaque in the Metropolitan

In this Atlético-Barça two footballers have been the focus of attention for weeks, Luis Suárez and Griezmann. Two ex-azulgrana who now play under Simeone's orders and who remind the red-and-white fans of another proper name, that of Bartomeu. They still thank him for the management that allowed the Uruguayan to finish in Atleti and, for that reason, a group of fans has placed a plaque with his name next to the Wanda Metropolitano.

“Nobita, vice president 2015-2020. Josep Maria Bartomeu, Legend” says the plaque of the former president of Barça, placed next to Griezmann's on the Paseo de Leyendas del Wanda Metropolitano, where they pay tribute to the footballers who have dressed at least 100 times the Atleti shirt. And instead of a photo of Bartomeu, a picture of the Doraemon cartoon character.

Bartomeu was the president who led to the departure of Suárez last summer and, a year before, the one who signed Griezmann for 120 million, which ended up being 135. And now the Frenchman is also in Atleti. For all that, this group of fans understands that Bartomeu is also an Atlético de Madrid Legend.
