Nico González: “We have to believe in the League, but we don’t want to fool anyone”

BARCELONA, 31 MAR. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The FC Barcelona player Nico González highlighted the positive dynamics of the team and the union of the locker room to fight for LaLiga Santander, although they do not want to “fool anyone” because it is “complicated”, so they remain hopeful and wait for “an opportunity” depending on the results of the next days.

“We have to believe, it is true that we do not want to deceive anyone and it is complicated. The dynamics are very good. If things get tighter in the next games we will have our chance,” he said this Thursday convinced at the opening of the MIC, a tournament he played four times as a Barça base football player.

Regarding the Europa League, the young midfielder expressed his hope of being able to win it, despite the fact that Real Madrid has 12 points ahead of them with 10 games to go. “I haven’t had the opportunity to win any title, it’s my first season and winning one would be the most spectacular thing in my sports career,” he confessed.

In the presentation of the international tournament, Nico reviewed his beginnings in the Barça entity. “When I arrived they did a height test. If they told me what I am currently tall, I would not have imagined it. I made such a big change that I was uncoordinated, I was uncomfortable with my body,” admitted the footballer.
