MADRID, 26 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Dreamland Gran Canaria’s Argentine forward Nico Brussino was chosen ‘MVP’ of the month of November, after closing this period with an average rating of 26.8, the highest of the month in the Endesa League.
The award was decided in the last game of matchday 11 this Sunday. After the loss of Facu Campazzo with Real Madrid against MoraBanc Andorra, Nico Brussino was obliged to earn a minimum of 24 rating credits to surpass his compatriot.
The Argentine was also a doubt in the Canarian derby against Lenovo Tenerife due to a sprained ankle suffered last week. The ‘Granca’ point guard went from less to more and finished with 25 points and a rating of 32, despite the loss in overtime against the Tenerife team, to end the month as MVP.
Brussino started November with 19 points, 11 rebounds and a PIR of 34 against Baskonia, ‘Player of the Day’ 8. The Argentine repeated as a yellow hero against Coviran Granada, with 24 points and a PIR of 25. Likewise, the forward was important against Casademont Zaragoza: 16 points and 16 PIR.
Thus, Nico surpassed Campazzo’s 24.7 rating thanks to the 26.8 average rating in the four games he played this month, with a record of 3-1 for his team. With an average of 21 points, 8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1 recovery, 0.8 blocks and 4.3 fouls received, Brussino obtained the second monthly award of his career in the Endesa League, after February of last year.
