Week 15 of NFL Fantasy 2023: Play ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Quarterbacks
We have roster answers for the questions you have about the lineup. At least, we hope so.
Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em is here to help fantasy managers make tough choices about their teams. Do you know what a good move is? To begin with, Christian McCaffrey.
That’s too clear, though, so you won’t find such an easy explanation here. We’re instead looking at cases that are more open to debate.
And if you are unable to locate the person you want, please look at the most recent rankings for NFL Fantasy lineups.
Hopefully, you don’t have to make many starting choices this week. At this point, everyone on your squad should be good to go, and we hope that not too many people are hurt.
That’s the reason you’re here. All that matters is that you get to the next round with the best team possible. We believe that’s not possible for everyone, though.
We’ll do our best to help you as always, and thanks for reading this piece every week. I hope it has helped rather than hurt, as I love hearing regarding all your wins.
I didn’t think Matthew Stafford was going to be our No. 1 fantasy quarterback at the start of the season, let alone in the playoffs.
Now we are, though, and Stafford possesses the best chance to score against Washington in Week 15.
At the beginning of the season, Stafford only had one game in more than 20 fantasy points. In his first eight games, he had seven or more.
Both Stafford and Cooper Kupp were hurt, and Kupp wasn’t performing at an excellent level.
But Stafford’s life has changed a lot in the last three games. Because he scored at least 28.9 fantasy points against Arizona, Cleveland, as well as Baltimore, he has become a very popular player in fantasy leagues.
Now he gets to play the Commanders, who rank No. 2 in the league in fantasy points their opponents give up to passers. They’ve earned your trust all year.
Four quarterbacks have scored more than 23.3 fantasy points in the last four games against Washington.
This season, 11 quarterbacks had scored at least 20.1 fantasy points when facing the Commanders. This week, Stafford should be great.
Both Kupp as well as Puka Nuka should have big games because the leaders give up the second most fantasy points to other receivers.
Also, Kyren Williams should have a big game because Washington is ranked eighth in the league in letting other teams’ running backs score fantasy points. But those guys are easy to start.
From a PPR scoring point of view, Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em is the best way to find out which fantasy football games are the best and worst.
Big names in the NFL, like Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, and Justin Jefferson, will not be talked about in this piece.
I’ll instead look at the people you asked about who might do better or worse than expected at each position.
Make sure you look at my weekly player rankings, that will be changed every day during the 2023 NFL season, before you decide on your final fantasy lineup.
Matthew Stafford finally showed what a great quarterback he can be in the last few weeks after a poor initial three months of the season.
In his last three starts, Stafford has thrown 10 touchdowns and only one interception. In each of these games, he has scored between twenty-two and twenty-four fantasy points.
Stafford is a top-10 fantasy choice in Week 15 because he gets to play against the Washington Commanders, whose defense is the worst in the National Football League against the pass.
