Next for Trevon Brazile to “Step Away” from the Razorbacks?

We might find out that Eric Musselman, the coach of Arkansas, had had enough after last week’s rout of Ole Miss. After that, Devo Davis “stepped away” with the Razorbacks, and Trevon Brazile began to be questioned.

After having an up-and-down season and missing a few games, Brazile hurt his knee toward South Carolina and then tweaked it some time to the first half of the game against the Rebels.

That same Saturday, they lost 64–57 to Kentucky, and he was unable to play either. Musselman wasn’t clear about that after the game.

That’s all that’s left for him to do: keep the ones he wants and get rid of the ones he doesn’t. Davis was the initial person to “step away.” Soon, we’ll know if he’s the sole remaining individual or if tons of people have left.

Arkansas, which was ranked No. 14 in the AP poll before the season, has been one of the worst teams in the country.

The Razorbacks are currently 10-10 overall and 1-6 in the SEC after their loss on Saturday. They lost by 26 points in Ole Miss on Wednesday.

It was unknown if Trevon Brazile, who started the initial 18 games of the season, would be able to play in Saturday’s loss.

Davis, a 6-foot-4 guard, has started eighteen games this season and has scored 6.3 points per game and shot 35.5%, which are both career lows.

Trevon Brazile did play against Ole Miss on Wednesday, but he had trouble because his knee hurt. The forward only played for 12 minutes as a substitute, instead of the usual almost 30 minutes.

Brazile missed the initial eight matches of the 2021–22 season because of an illness. He used the NCAA transfer portal to find a new team after Missouri fired coach Cuonzo Martin.
