Nadal praises Alcaraz after winning the Mutua Madrid Open

Precisely one of his rivals, Rafa Nadal, was one of the first to congratulate Alcaraz on his great victory in Madrid. The Spaniard, who is already training for the Masters 1,000 in Rome, published a post on his Instagram account with this message: “Congratulations Carlos !!!!! What a great tournament. Great triumph !!!” A whole show of sportsmanship and at the same time a celebration for the great health enjoyed by Spanish tennis.

Nadal and Alcaraz will not meet this week at the Masters 1,000 in Rome, since the Murcian will give up the tournament to regain strength after his titanic effort in Madrid, so the next time they can see each other in a major tournament will be at Roland claws (May 22 – June 5), with a Nadal who already hopes to be in top form and with an Alcaraz who will face a Grand Slam for the first time as the great favorite.
