Nacho Cano sang this Monday “I can’t get up today”: this was the party for his 60th birthday

It was not expected Nacho Cano. He turned 60 last Sunday and his intention was to celebrate them in privacy. But his friends had prepared a surprise party for him, which began on the stage of the theater where his musical Malinche is currently being performed and continued at night with a party at the Templo Canalla in Madrid.

The composer was attending the last performance of the work on Sunday when he was surprised with the appearance on stage of Rafa, from La Unión, and by Kuve, who performed a version of his mythical song we always live together.

The former member of the Mecano group was moved and, even more so, when the entire audience attending the show and the members of the musical company sang Happy Birthday to him in chorus. It is not surprising that Nacho confessed that his emotion: “It is the best birthday party of my life,” Penelope Cruz’s ex said gratefully.

A huge cake, a painting by the artist Jerey Zapata and a piñata gave way to a night of dancing and lots of partying in the rogue temple.

A few days ago, Nacho positioned himself in the confrontation between Shakira y Gerard Piqué, recommending the former soccer player to release a song in response to those released by the Colombian singer with clear references in her lyrics to what she considers a betrayal by the father of her two children.
