Muñiz: “I don't know how Barcelona will come”

Deportivo Alavés coach, Juan Ramón López Muñiz, indicated this Saturday that they will try “to maintain the level of the last matches” in the last match of the course that will measure Barcelona.

He recalled in a video published by the club that they will face “an important rival, one of the best in Europe” and that to win the match they have to “do things very well and work the match very well.

“We can go up the rankings and we will try from the first minute”, affirmed the Asturian, who was satisfied with what his team has done so far to achieve permanence.

He considered that the team had “a long year, very hard, with many days of training, a lot of work and a lot of suffering for the classification” and pointed out that they have to think about themselves and not the rival.

“I always like to think that we are the protagonists, I don't know how Barcelona will come, but we have to know what we have to do and have the ambition necessary to win the three points”, exposed the technician.

He stressed that in this type of games they have to be “very focused and playing as if it were the last game of life because with his quality, (Barça) is capable of unbalancing the clash”.

Muñiz also took the opportunity to review his short journey in Alavés so far and thanked all the members of the club for their predisposition. “The players were willing to make a change to the situation and the coach at that time is calm because everyone is involved,” he said proudly.
