According to DAZN, the coach of the Roma, Jose Mourinho, ordered a part of the Roma fans to stop singing a racist song directed at Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the match between Milan and Roma (3-1).
The incident occurred in the second half of the game, minutes before Rafael Leao scored the Rossoneri’s third goal against Mourinho’s Roma at Stadio Meazza.
According to the report, Mourinho heard racist comments from the visiting fans and asked the Giallorossi fans to stop. And they did it immediately.
Ibrahimovic started the game against Roma on the bench, but entered the second half and gave the assist to Leao. It should be remembered that Mou coached Ibrahimovic at Inter in 2008-09, but the forward left the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2009 and joined FC Barcelona in an exchange with Samuel Eto’o.
The Swedish forward returned to Milan for a second season at the club in January 2020. He has scored seven goals in 15 games in all competitions this season.
