The Kazakhstan Grand Prix has been dropped from this season’s MotoGP calendar due to “ongoing homologation work” on the track and “current global operational challenges”, so the World Championship now has 20 races, according to a statement. of the competition issued this Wednesday.
“The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), the association of independent teams participating in MotoGP (IRTA) and Dorna Sports confirm the cancellation of the 2023 Kazakhstan GP. The competition also announced that the Kazakhstan GP, scheduled for July 9, will not be replaced in a calendar that now has 20 tests.
