More than 2.4 million viewers watched Spain’s elimination from the Women’s Euro Cup

MADRID, 21 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

More than 2.4 million viewers saw this Wednesday the defeat (2-1) of Spain against England in the extra time of the quarterfinals of the Women’s European Football Championship, and which had a screen share of 23.3 percent , a fact that pulverizes the audiences of women’s football in Spain.

According to TVE, up to 6,202,000 viewers at some point followed the elimination of Jorge Vilda’s selection in La 1, and which recorded the ‘golden minute’, the most watched, at 10:51 p.m., with 3,523,000 viewers and 29.7 percent share.

This data adds to the victory of Spain against Finland, which was seen by an average of 831,000 viewers (10.4% audience share); the almost 1.5 million (1,449,000) viewers and a 13.7 percent share that followed the defeat (2-0) against Germany, and the Spain-Denmark, which reached an average of 1,629,000 viewers and 18.5% audience share.
