More than 18,000 Barça members have requested the vote by mail

FC Barcelona announced this afternoon that it already has a total of 18,119 requests from partners for participate in the elections of next March 7 through the modality of vote by mail. In fact, the Blaugrana club is still confident of reaching the 20,000 round citron, since there is still time to hUntil Tuesday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. to fill out the form through the club's website that allows you to take advantage of this modality.

The member who participates in the elections by vote by mail may exercise your right to vote from February 15 to February 26. To do this you will have at your disposal two methods: if you are 65 years old or over you can do it at your own address and a person from the Post Office will come to collect your envelope with the vote while if you are under 65 years of age you will have to go with the documentation to the post office closest to your locality.

Right now, and taking into account that the current census of voting partners is 110,552, we are talking about significant numbers of members who use this new modality to participate in the elections: 16%.

Remember that it will be the first time in history that Barcelona accepts the vote by mail as an option to choose a president, since until now the vote was in person and in a single venue, the Camp Nou. In these elections, apart from voting by mail, the seats are decentralized, up to a total of six, spread over the entire territory of Catalonia and Andorra.
