The illusion is triggered. The match against Real Oviedo will break all the club’s forecasts in relation to the fans that will gather at the Gran Canaria Stadium. The UD Las Palmas has sold more than 16,000 tickets in just two days for next Saturday’s game (9:00 p.m., Movistar LaLiga), after the box office closes this Tuesday.
After selling more than 5,000 tickets on Monday, that figure doubled yesterday with 11,000 tickets dispatched, so the entity has sold 16,024 tickets for the aforementioned meeting. That, added to the subscribers, around 11,000, suggests that the Gran Canaria Stadium presents its best aspect since the second leg of the playoff against Real Zaragoza, back in 2015.
In addition, if the capacity of the Naciente stand had been exhausted on Monday, the same thing happened with the Curva and Sur stand, so only remaining tickets in Grandstand (25 euros). During this Wednesday, once again, numerous queues of yellow fans are expected to try to be at the Siete Palmas venue on Saturday supporting their team.
Remember that Las Palmas activated two initiatives at the beginning of the week to encourage the presence of fans. Season ticket holders can purchase a ticket at 50 percent of the general sale price, and those under 16 years of age who attend the game wearing an official UD Las Palmas Hummel shirt can get a free ticket, except for VIP locations and Special Tribune.
This last one is already Subject to ticket availability the day of the game, given the high rate of ticket sales that has taken place and that has fulfilled all expectations in the island.
