More than 1,500 children have enjoyed this Monday at the Vallehermoso Stadium the traditional children’s race prior to the celebration of the Nationale-Nederlanden San Silvestre Vallecana, with all the proceeds from this eighth edition for the ‘Gasol Foundation’, according to a statement.
Since 10 in the morning, children up to 16 years old have competed in the test with distances adapted to their respective categories. All the participants took home a commemorative medal for competing in the ‘little sister’ of the San Silvestre Vallecana that will be held on December 31 in the capital of Madrid.
The ‘Gasol Foundation’, the foundation of the Pau and Marc Gasol brothers, will receive the full amount of the inscriptions, a total sum of 3,911 euros, for, “through research, the development of health promotion programs and the public awareness, end childhood obesity.
