MoraBanc Andorra has dismissed Ibon Navarro as coach of the first team due to the poor results of recent weeks, the Principality club has announced, confirming David Eudal as his substitute on the bench.
“Ibon Navarro is no longer the coach of MoraBanc Andorra. The club decided last night to dismiss the coach seeking a reaction from the team after the poor dynamic of results. The new coach will be the assistant coach and national basketball coach David Eudal”, the club noted.
MoraBanc Andorra has accumulated five consecutive defeats in the Endesa League and seven in the last eight games between the domestic competition and the Eurocup. The team is fifteenth with two points of rent above the relegation zone.
“MoraBanc Andorra would like to thank Ibon Navarro for his work and professionalism during the three and a half seasons he has been coach of the first team. Under his leadership, the club achieved important successes and his work will remain forever in the club’s history. We wish him good luck, he deserves it all, in the following challenges he faces”, he concluded.
