Monreal admits to being delighted with his stay at La Real and in San Sebastián. “Since I've been here, everything has been positive. The team has played wonderful football, we have obtained results and now we are going to play a Cup final “. All this is what has led him to want to renew and continue in the San Sebastian club. “These things mean that when you have to make a decision about whether to continue or go somewhere else, the balance goes this way. I am very happy with what I have experienced, but I hope that what is yet to be lived can be even better for me ”.

Monreal hopes to celebrate his renewal by playing first in the Cup final, for which he has recovered in time after being injured for several weeks. “It would be the best way to celebrate the renewal. To this day I am super happy to continue enjoying football at this wonderful club and winning the Cup would be the icing on the cake ”. And for this, the Navarrese side is clear that the key is to “be faithful to our style, bring the game to our side and win it, but I think there will probably be an open game until the last, in which the two teams will try to make as few mistakes as possible and the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win ”. The voice of experience speaks, one of the players who put veterancy on the young Real squad. “Having people like Moyá, Silva or me is good to give advice to young people, because it is a staff of great youth, but it is surprising how calm they are taking everything.”
