Monaco thrashes and gets into the fight for the title

A double by Wissam Ben Yedder contributed, this Saturday, to Monaco's defeat of Metz (4-0) that allows the Principality team to get into the fight for the title of the French football league.

The Spanish Cesc Fàbregas opened the account in the 50th minute by converting a penalty; German Kevin Volland increased the difference two minutes later and Ben Yedder rounded off the win with his goals in the 77th and 89th minutes, the latter from a penalty.

With this victory, Monaco is one point behind Paris St. Germain and Lille, who topped the table with 63 points before meeting this Saturday.
