LONDON, 7 Aug. (PA Media/dpa) –
Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah’s agent has dismissed speculation linking the English Liverpool footballer to a move to Saudi Arabia, as the 31-year-old “remains committed” to the Red club.
Information in the Middle East claimed that the representatives of the international and Al-Ittihad were negotiating an agreement to sign Salah for a value of 155 million euros and for the next two seasons. The Egyptian renewed a year ago for the six-time European champion for three seasons and with the most lucrative contract in the history of the English club.
“If we considered leaving Liverpool this year, we would not have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to the LFC,” Ramy Abbas, the Egyptian striker’s agent, settled on his official ‘X’ profile.
