A year after his death, Mohamed Al Fayed, Egyptian businessman and father of Dodi Al Fayed (who died with Princess Diana in an accident in 1997), has been accused of “rape“, as well as other types of”sexual violence” by its former employees, as reported by the BBC.
One of them has declared that the tycoon, who died in the summer of last year at the age of 94, the “raped when she was still a teenager“. Another of the women who has reported has stated that it was “raped“, since he made it clear that he did not consent to the sexual act.”I just wanted it to end“, declares at the example. “I remember feeling his body on top of me, his weight. Just hearing him make those noises. And, just going to another place in my head. He raped me.“, said another of the workers. Likewise, the women who have raised their voices to denounce the employer have defined Mohamed as “a monster, a sexual predator without any kind of moral compass“.
In some cases, the businessman asked several women to undergo gynecological tests to verify that they were in good sexual health. There was no reason anyone should have known about my sexual health unless you were already planning to sleep with me. Thinking about it now gives me chills.“explained the executive adviser who worked with Al-Fayed in 2005.
Former employees of the company have also said that the tycoon would walk around the store’s sales floors and select the female employees he found most attractive. He would then relocate them to the offices on the upper floor to have a “greater contact with them“.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the affected women have filed a formal complaint with the courts. If they do file a complaint, the legal process will be complicated, as lawsuits against deceased persons have specific legal procedures and requirements that do not always allow all claims to be admitted.
