Miriam Ungría says her last goodbye to her father in Madrid without her new husband, Jordanian Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad

Visibly affected, Miriam Ungria she attended, without the company of her new husband, the funeral mass in memory of Bernardo de Ungría Goiburu, who died on October 27 at the age of 98, in the parish of San Agustín, in the wealthy neighborhood of El Viso.

A happiness that has been cut short two months later with the death of her father, to whom she was very close and to whom Miriam dejectedly fired this Thursday. Three years ago, she also faced the death of her mother, Carmen López Oleaga. “I’m fine, thank you,” Miriam simply said in her sad reappearance after her marriage.

The tragedy that marked Miriam Ungría in 2008

Seven years after the death of Kardam of Bulgaria, the widow of the former heir to the royal family changes radically when she becomes the wife of a Muslim prince. Miriam had recently lived with her in London, where she carried out her professional work as a jewelry businesswoman, although she spent good times in Madrid with her family. Her children, Boris and Beltrán, also study in the English capital.

Seven years ago Miriam de Ungría lost her husband, Kardam of Bulgaria, son of Simeon II, due to the consequences of a traffic accident that occurred in 2008. In 2019, the princess also mourned the death of her mother, Carmen López Oleaga.

“I don’t consider myself an example of anything. I think I’m privileged. I think I’ve experienced very special moments. Obviously I wish nothing had happened, but it’s been a journey that makes you live and mature,” she said some time ago about the adversities which he has faced.
