Mirandés will have to pay 150,000 euros to Rayo for a Sergio Moreno clause

El Rayo will receive 150,000 euros thanks to Sergio Moreno. The half hour that the youth squad played on loan at Mirandés in Tuesday's match will mean extra income for the Vallecano club. Sergio Moreno was loaned by Rayo to the Burgos team this season. The contract included a compensatory clause in the event that the forward was lined up in any of the matches against the Vallecano team. That happened last Tuesday in the meeting postponed due to the snowfall in Madrid last week.

The Mirandés coach, José Alberto López, was unaware of the existence of such a clause and no one at the club realized it until after the game. El Rayo, for its part, is now claiming 150,000 euros.

Sergio Moreno is one of the pearls of the Rayo quarry and in Miranda he lives his second assignment after last season at the Mestalla. His name has already been related to Athletic, since he is from Pamplona, so the sports management of the recent Super Cup champion has him on his agenda.
