Bad news for Raúl’s Castilla and also for Real Madrid. The white subsidiary has today defeated UCAM Murcia at the Alfredo Di Stéfano in a match that started with news due to the absence of Miguel Gutiérrez not only in the eleven but also in the squad.
Castilla’s coach, after the win, reported at a press conference that the left-back is suffering “a worrying injury” that could keep him off the pitch for several weeks. At the moment it is unknown what kind of ailment Miguel Gutiérrez suffers, one of the bastions of the subsidiary and one of the most pampered jewels of the Factory, but this injury adds to the extensive part of physical problems that have diminished the footballer in recent times .
Miguel made his debut last season in the Real Madrid first team at the hands of Zinedine Zidane, who turned to him in the final stretch of the season (he participated in six of the last seven league games) due to the plague of injuries that hit the squad, especially on the defensive pitch.
This season, with Ancelotti, his prominence with the elders has drastically diminished, since he has not played with the first team since the defeat against Sheriff Tiraspol at the Santiago Bernabéu in the Champions League group stage.
A fundamental piece in Raúl’s team (he is the top assistant for Castilla and the 1st RFEF with eight goal assists), Miguel has only been able to participate in 15 of Castilla’s 28 games. The lane player chained seven games in a row playing (the last four complete) but now a new physical mishap nips his meteoric progression in the bud.
