Miguel Díaz, four more years president of the RFET

Miguel Díaz Román, a 59-year-old businessman, has been re-elected by the Assembly of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) as president for the next four years. In a telematic assembly, on the recommendation of the CSD in the face of the current pandemic situation, 129 of the 132 registered assembly members have decided to give their confidence to Díaz Román, who has shown their satisfaction at the end of the session, says the Federation itself in a statement.

The telematic voting has been as follows: 132 registered Assembly members. 129 votes in favor of Miguel Díaz Román. 3 blank votes. “It is a great joy to once again have the trust of everyone to continue working for Tennis. We have the same enthusiasm and energy that we put in from day one until today to face this exciting challenge that we have, “says Miguel Díaz.

“We will give opportunities to those who want to be professionals so that they start their career in Spain “, adds the president when referring to the international tournaments that take place in Spain. “And we want to continue in that line,” he says.
