Michail Antonio extends West Ham's streak

A great goal by Michail Antonio allowed David Moyes' West Ham to achieve their third consecutive victory in the Premier on Tuesday by beating West Brom, penultimate and coming from defeating Wolves last Saturday (2-3). The 'hammers', who faced Sam Allardyce, their coach between 2011 and 2015, provisionally ranked seventh in the table, moving closer to Europe.

A goalless first half was coming to an end when Jarrod Bowen advanced to the hammers in a psychological moment, taking advantage of a ball from Kamil Grosicki in the first half discount. It was a huge blow for Sam Allardyce's team, who were hoping to start coming back from that win against Wolves. West Brom is currently 5 points away from permanence.

Matheus Pereira gave Allardyce's men hope by making it 1-1 at 51 '. After receiving a ball from Vladimir Coufal, the Brazilian nationalized Portuguese scored with a powerful cross shot. The VAR reviewed the play, but ruled that there was no offside and the goal went up to the scoreboard.

But it was a mirage for West Brom, since in 65 'Michail Antonio appeared to decide the match thanks to a great shot, very difficult, between 2 defenders, which he carried out with quality. Andriy Yarmolenko had assisted him.

Allardyce's fought until the end in search of a draw that did not come. Darnell Furlong, who had entered the 70 'to replace Kamil Grosicki, had a good chance, but the ball went wide.
