Michael Phelps Reveals His Struggle For Mental Health Amid The Crisis!!

Michael Phelps happens to be an American swimmer that reminds everyone about his struggle with his mental health. He thinks that the struggle between himself and his mental condition has no Finish Line. He has to deal with his mental issues every single day while struggling with the depression that comes along.

Even though the media and some people are saying that Michael Phelps is completely healthy and is making a comeback. Michael Phelps does not want people to think that everything is back to normal in his life. Everyone is saying that the American swimmer did beat the disease and make a healthy comeback. But that does not seem like the actual case about Michael Phelps’s mental struggle.

Recently, during the Coronavirus pandemic, Michael Phelps did admit that he is struggling currently more than ever. He wants to encourage others to create a better health discourse about mental health situations during the pandemic.

Michael Phelps reveals by writing a story for ESPN.com that he is going through a lot during this Coronavirus crisis. He says, “It has been one of those months. Nonstop, my mood jumping up and down and all around. The pandemic has been one of the scariest times I’ve been through. I’m thankful that my family and I are safe and healthy. I’m grateful we don’t have to worry about paying bills or putting food on the table, like so many other folks right now. But still, I’m struggling.”

He continues, “There are times where I feel absolutely worthless, where I completely shut down but have this bubbling anger that is through the roof. If I’m being honest, more than once I’ve just screamed out loud, “I wish I wasn’t me!”.
