PSG striker Kylian Mbappé has posted a message on the social network Instagram as a reaction after the resounding 3-1 defeat of the Parisians at the Bernabéu. The French international, who was able to play his last Champions League match with the French institution last night, wanted to publicly thank the fans who traveled to Madrid for their unconditional support.
“The Champions League was a great goal for us, but we failed. The season is not over and no matter what happens, we will continue to be solid and decisive until the last game of the season”. He sentenced with “Thanks to the fans who supported us and made the trip. ‘ICI C’EST PARIS'”, reads the statement issued by the still PSG player on Instagram.
Despite having tried everything during the 90 minutes, including two disallowed goals in addition to the one that gave PSG the lead, Mbappé was unable to contain Real Madrid’s comeback. The attacker will try to end the season by giving his team the Ligue 1 title before possibly leaving the Parisians in June as a free agent.
