Matchday 27 match preview: Salamanca UDS

Navalcarnero visits Helmántico this Sunday to face Salamanca in its twenty-seventh round of the Second RFEF, which will start at 5:00 p.m.

Salamanca UDS reaches the twenty-seventh match with the intention of improving its performance in the tournament after drawing the last match played against Unión Adarve. Since the start of the competition, the locals have won in six of the 26 games played to date, with a streak of 13 goals for and 24 against.

Regarding the visiting team, Navalcarnero managed to defeat UC Ceares 4-2 during their last match in the competition, with goals from Gil, Beneit, Fran Pérez and Hernández, so they hope to repeat the result, now at the Salamanca UDS stadium. Of the 26 games they have played this season of the Second RFEF, Navalcarnero has won 14 of them and has conceded 24 goals and scored 32 for.

Focusing on the performance as a local team, Salamanca UDS have won three times, been defeated five times and drawn four times in 12 games played so far, so they appear to be a weak team at home, where the visitors have more chances than expected. Away from home, Navalcarnero has a balance of five wins, six losses and two draws in 13 games they have played so far, so they will have to get serious in the duel with Salamanca UDS to win.

In turn, the locals are the ones who have won the most times in their stadium against Navalcarnero, as they have done so on the last three occasions. The last time Salamanca and Navalcarnero played in this competition was in November 2021 and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Navalcarnero.

Analyzing its position in the classification table of the Second RFEF, we see that Navalcarnero is ahead of the local team with an advantage of 21 points. Salamanca UDS arrives at the match with 26 points in their locker and occupying seventeenth place before the match. For its part, Navalcarnero has 47 points and ranks third in the competition.
