Matchday 13 match preview: Villarreal B

Castellón visits Ciudad Deportiva Del Villarreal on Tuesday to face Villarreal in its thirteenth match of the First RFEF, which will start at 5:00 p.m.

Villarreal B intends to improve their classification in the championship after having lost their last game against Algeciras by a score of 2-1. Since the start of the competition, the locals have won 11 of the 17 games played so far in the First RFEF, with 31 goals for and 13 against.

Regarding the away team, Castellón could not beat Sabadell in their last game (0-1), so they hope to end their losing streak and redirect their trajectory in the competition. Of the 16 games they have played this season in the First RFEF, Castellón has won eight of them with a figure of 18 goals for and 15 against.

Focusing on performance as a home team, Villarreal B have won seven times and lost once in eight games played so far, making them a very difficult team to beat when playing at home. On the road, Castellón have been defeated twice and have drawn twice in their seven games played, so they will have to get serious in the duel with Villarreal B to win.

At this moment, Villarreal B is ahead in the table with a difference of seven points with respect to its rival. Miguel Álvarez’s team arrives at the match in second position and with 34 points before the match. For its part, Castellón has 27 points and occupies the eighth position in the classification.
