Match Preview: Real Mancha

The Eagles visit the La Juventud Sports Center this Sunday to face Mancha Real in their eighteenth round of the Second RFEF, which will start at 18:00.

Mancha Real arrives at the eighteenth day with the intention of recovering points after suffering a defeat against Real Murcia in the previous game by a result of 1-0. Since the start of the season, the hosts have won five of the 16 games played so far, with 10 goals scored versus 15 conceded.

Regarding the visiting team, Águilas has just won 1-0 at El Rubial, with a goal from Gaffoor against Calvo Sotelo Puertollano in the last game played, so they intend to maintain their winning streak at the stadium Royal Stain. Of the 17 games they have played this season of the Second RFEF, Águilas have won five of them with 16 goals for and 15 against.

Focusing on the performance as a local team, Mancha Real has three wins and five losses in eight games played at home, so they will have to defend their goal very well if they do not want to lose more points in the tournament. As visitors, the Eagles have a balance of three wins, two losses and three draws in eight games they have played so far, which means that both teams will have to do everything they can to win.

Likewise, the locals are the ones that have won the most times in their stadium against Águilas, as they have done so on the last three occasions. The last match between Mancha Real and Águilas in this tournament was played in September 2021 and ended in a draw (1-1).

Analyzing the situation of these teams in the classification table of the Second RFEF, we can see that the visiting team is ahead of Mancha Real with a difference of three points. Pedro Bolaños’ team arrives at the match in fourteenth position and with 18 points before the match. For their part, the visitors are in eleventh position with 21 points.
