Real Valladolid announced this Friday that it had reached an agreement with Real Madrid to bring in 20-year-old Spanish midfielder Mario Martín Rielves on loan until the end of the current season.
Born on 5 March 2004 in Sonseca (Toledo), Martín has played for the lower categories of the Spanish national team. “He began his career with the team from his hometown of Sonseca and continued his training at Toledo and Odelot Toletum until he arrived at Real Madrid to play in the Alevín A team,” the Blanquivioleta club said on its website.
“At the white club he climbed the ladder, was crowned champion of the Copa del Rey Juvenil, was part of Castilla and in 2022/23 he made his debut with the first team, with whom he played a total of 4 games,” added the press release about the Merengue youth player.
In this way, the 20-year-old midfielder will land at the José Zorrilla Stadium until June 30, 2025 to reinforce the midfield and, according to the same press release, “grow with the team” coached by Uruguayan Paulo Pezzolano.
