Yes, you read it right. It’s November 1st but there are already those who announce Christmas. It couldn’t be other than Mariah Carey. Thanks to her carol singing, she has become one of the most representative figures of the holidays, on par with Santa Claus or the Grinch. This Wednesday, the singer released her most anticipated video of the year: “It’s time.”

Mariah Carey’s new video is not to be missed: inside a vault, three Halloween monsters are trying to defrost a block of ice that contains the famous singer inside. The timbre of her voice ends up breaking her ‘jail’ and it is unleashed to announce the arrival of Christmas among flakes and confetti.

Nor is it surprising that Carey adores Christmas: her hit ‘All I want for Christmas is you’ has been positioned at number 1 on all music charts every year since its release in 1994. According to Billboard, the song is downloaded about 1.7 billion of times, which generates a profit of 1.36 million dollars for the singer and her label, Sony.
